The hidden fonts included with macOS Catalina
macOS Catalina includes several typefaces from Commercial Type and Klim Type Foundry. The easy-to-miss detail is that they are optional downloads, so they do not appear in every application’s font menu immediately.
Open Font Book, switch to All Fonts, find the family you want, and download it. The available families include:
- Canela - Commercial Type
- Domaine Display - Klim Type Foundry
- Founders Grotesk - Klim Type Foundry
- Graphik - Commercial Type
- Produkt - Commercial Type
- Publico - Commercial Type
Apple keeps the complete list of fonts included with macOS Catalina. Availability and licensing here refer to Catalina, as this article was written in 2020; newer macOS releases may include a different set.
